Chennai Super Kings have suffered a huge blow ahead of IPL 2020. One of their premier batsman Suesh Raina has pulled out of the tournament citing personal reasons. And will hence miss the entire tournament.
It may be recalled that Raina had announced his retirement form International cricket along with former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni on August 15, 2020
The CSK team CEO KS Viswanathan confirmed Raina’s departure in a tweeet
Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time.
