India’s number one wicket-keeper batsman has moved on from Delhi Capitals for Tata IPL2025 . Pant became the most expensive player in the cash rich league as he was bought by Lucknow Super Giants at the Tata IPL auction at Jeddah for a whopping Rs 27 crore.

interestingly Pant went to LSG after his former franchise Delhi Capitals did not use the Right to Match card to buy him back. KKR Skipper Shreyas Iyer has decided to move . Shreyas Iyer was bought by Punjab Kings who broke the bank to buy him for Rs 26.75 crtrore.

KKR batsman Venkatesh Iyer was the surprise show-stopper after Kolkata Knight Riders paid a whopping Rs 23.75 crore to bring him back after not retaining him. With Shreyas Iyer not in team, Venkatesh has expressed his desire to lead the side .

Sam Curran (England), base price of ₹2 crore, sold to Chennai Super Kings for ₹2.40 crore.

Marco Jansen (South Africa), base price of ₹1.25 crore, sold to Punjab Kings for ₹7 crore.

Krunal Pandya (India), base price of ₹2 crore, sold to Royal Challengers Bengaluru for ₹5.75 crore.

Nitish Rana (India), base price of ₹1.50 crore, sold to Rajasthan Royals for ₹4.20 crore.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s experience found high demand among IPL franchises, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) securing his services for Rs 10.75 crore.

Kiwi Trent Boult rejoined Mumbai Indians for a second stint, getting acquired for ₹12.5 crore from a base price of ₹2 crore.

MI also roped in Naman Dhir for ₹5.25 crore, Robin Minz for ₹65 lakhs and Karn Sharma for ₹50 lakhs. On Day 2, MI roped in South African Ryan Rickleton for his base price of ₹1 crore. India pacer Deepak Chahar joined MI for ₹9.25 crores. They also signed Afghan Allah Ghafanzar for ₹4.80 crores.
