Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen once again came out all guns blazing to rout Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets in a high-scoring Tata IPL 2026 encounter at Wankhede, Mumbai . Earlier, MI Skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bat first.
And MI at home did not disappoint their large fans as they put on an impressive total of 243/5 in their 20 overs . MI openers Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks laid the platform for the big total with an explosive start total 93-1, 7.1 overs . Jacks was first to go for 46 ( 22 balls, 5 fours, 3 sixes). The poor form of India’s T20 Skipper Suryakumar Yadav continued out for just 5 . Naman Dhir 22 ( 17 balls 3 fours ) , Hardik Pandya 31 ( 15 balls , 2 fours, 2 sixes) , Tilak Varma 7 , Robin Minz not out 1.
The innings that enabled MI to reach such an imposing total was due to the fine unbeaten hundred by South African Ryan Rickelton 123 ( 55 balls , 10 fours, 8 sixes) was a super knock he amchored the innings as wickets fell around him.

Nitish Kumar Reddy 21 ( 17 balls 3 fours).
The stiff chase was superbly anchored by Heinrich Klaasen who smashed an unbeaten 65 ( 30 balls , 7 fours, 4 sixes) . Salil Arora added more salt into MI wounds with a quick cameo 30 not out ( 10 balls , 2 fours, 3 sixes). MI players looked shell- shocked even after setting a target of 243 , SRH romped home instyle 249/4 in 18. 4 overs.
