Sunrisers Hyderabad powered by impressive show by debutants Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain and fine 91 by skipper Ishan Kishan helped them beat Rajasthan Royals By 57 runs in a Tata IPL 2026 encounter. Earlier , RR Skipper Riyan Parag won the toss an asked the home team SRH to bat first .
SRH were delt a early blow as Abhishek Sharma was out for 0. Travis Head , did not last long and scored 18. Coming in at number 3, SRH Skipper Ishan Kishan looked unfazed by loss of wickets and began confidently . Ishan was in imperious form and smashed a power packed innings of 91 ( 44 balls , 8 fours, 6 sixes) and very unlucky to miss out a ton .
Heinrich Klaasen came good yet again with 40 ( 26 balls , 1 four, 3 sixes). All- rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy played lovely cameo 28 ( 13 balls , 4 sixes), Salil Arora 24 not out ( 13 balls , 2 fours , 2 sixes) as SRH moved towards a big total , Aniket Verma out for 6 , Harsh Dubey not out 0. SRH finishing eventually with an imposing 216/6 in their 20 overs.

SRH debutant seamer Praful Hinge ripped through the top order bagging sensational three wickets in first over. Yashasvi Jaiswal 1, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi 0, Dhruv Jurel 0. Lhuan-dre Pretorius 0, Skipper Riyan Parag 4. RR slipped to a dismal 9 for five inside first three overs . Sakib Hussain the another debutant was red hot too . It was just inevitable how much RR would score. match was as good as over.

Seasoned Ravindra Jadeja 45 ( 32 balls 5 fours) and Donovan Ferreira 69 ( 44 balls, 7 fours, 3 sixes) restored some pride with alate fight back but that was not enough. Top-order collapse had dented RR’s chase hopes. Jofra Archer 2. Tushar Deshpande 25 , Ravi Bishnoi 0 , Nandre Burger not out 3 as RR were bowled out for 159/10 in 19. 0 overs.
