Supreme Court Sets Up Fresh Five-Judge Constitution Bench Headed By CJI To Hear 4 Cases From July 12

The Supreme Court has set up a fresh five-judge Constitution bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) D Y Chandrachud to hear four cases from July 12.

The top court will reopen on July 3 after the summer vacation that had begun on May 22.

Besides the CJI, the Constitution bench would include Justices Hrishikesh Roy, P S Narasimha, Pankaj Mithal and Manoj Misra, the apex court said in a notice issued by the assistant registrar (listing).
