BJP and the party spokespersons have come out blazing over Sandeshkhali  in West Bengal but the videos involving grandson of former PM HD Deve gowda of sexually abusing women has exposed their hypocrisy and their so called Nari shakti slogan.

Congress held protests in Karnataka demanding the immediate arrest of Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who is facing allegations of sexually abusing hundreds of women.

Congress workers — with women members joining in large numbers — took to the streets in Hubballi, Hassan and Bengaluru, among other places, seeking action against the 33-year-old grandson of Janaat Dal-Secular chief and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda.

The JD-S joined the NDA in September last year. Prajwal is the NDA candidate in Hassan Lok Sabha constituency, which went to the polls on April 26.

Left red- faced , Bharatiya Janata Party and the Janata Dal-Secular have distanced itself from sitting JD-S MP from Hassan Lok Sabha constituency, Prajwal Revanna amid the controversy over his alleged obscene videos.

Karnataka government has constituted a Special Investigation Team to probe an alleged sex scandal involving Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who is the grandson of Janata Dal-Secular supremo and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.

In a post in Hindi on X, Priyanka Gandhi said, “The leader with whom the PM gets photographed by placing his hand on his shoulder. The leader for whom the PM himself campaigned 10 days ago. Praised him on stage. Today, that leader of Karnataka is absconding from the country.”

“Just hearing about his heinous crimes committed is heart-wrenching. This ruined the lives of hundreds of women. Modi ji, will you still remain silent?” the Congress general secretary said.

TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP , Sagarika Ghose tweeted

On ‘obscene videos’ case involving JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi quoted by ANI said , “I would want to know that PM Modi is in Karnataka today, is he going to speak about this? PM Modi spoke about Mangalsutra, daughters and mothers, but will he talk about them today?…It is a shame that the NCW chairperson who should be practicing equal justice for all, continues to maintain her silence. It’s a shame that we have a Women and Child Welfare minister who has only chosen selective silences to attack those who are in the opposition rather than speak up truly for the cause of women. It is shameful. I would want everybody who helped the person escape to France should be punished and he should be brought back from France…I’m hoping that justice will be done to the women who were exploited.”
