#Madhya Pradesh : Rahul Gandhi Tears Into BJP Government Terms State As Corruption Capital For Indulging In Rampant Corruption



Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi claimed Madhya Pradesh was the country’s “corruption capital” and accused the state BJP government of indulging in rampant “corruption”.

Addressing a public meeting in MP’s Neemuch district as reported by PTI , he also promised a caste census if the Congress comes to power at the Centre and in states and expressed confidence that his party will sweep the assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh.

Gandhi promised his party government will provide LPG cylinder at Rs 500, waive farmers’ loans up to Rs 2 lakh, will pay a minimum support price (MSP) of Rs 2,600 for wheat which will go up to Rs 3,000 and free electricity up to 100 units.

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, The Gandhi scion quoted by ANI said, The population of OBC is nearly 50 per cent… I told PM Modi to do a caste-based census… After that, PM Modi said in a speech that there is no caste in India. There are only the poor… We will do a caste-based census after our government comes in Madhya Pradesh. Everyone should know how much their population is and how much right they have on budget and government…”
