Prime Minister Narendra Modi in all his election rallies for Lok Sabha 2024 has driven home point to the electorate that his government will tolerate anything regarding corruption and more leaders will be under scanner post June 4, 2024 . The day the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls will be announced.
The ED heat is on the AAP in Delhi with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal jailed for the Delhi Liquor policy scam . His former Deputy Manish Sisodia , Satyender Jain continue to languish in jail. While Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay got bail after six months. Singh meanwhile took on the double standards of the ED as he in a press conference alleged that the BJP, took Rs 60 crore from an accused in the “so-called” liquor scam case but the Enforcement Directorate took no action in the matter. BRS leader K Kavitha was earlier arrested in the Delhi Liquor policy case.

The join BJP get clean chit becomes all the more clear with NCP leader Praful Patel . The Central Bureau of Investigation closed a 2017 case involving Rajya Sabha MP Praful Patel regarding the alleged irregularities in leasing aircraft for Air India. This comes eight months after Patel, along with several other senior leaders, joined the Nationalist Congress Party faction headed by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and joined the BJP Eknath Shinde Shiv Sena faction government.
Patel held independent charge of the civil aviation ministry between May 2004 and January 2011 in the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) years.
In 2014 BJP document it alleged that the Air India scam was approximately Rs 25,000-30,000 crore.” In May 2017, the CBI had filed four cases pertaining to abuse of power by officials of the Ministry of Civil Aviation under Patel and thereby causing loss to the government. This was on the direction of the Supreme Court.

Ajit Pawar who broke away for the NCP of Sharad Pawar to join the Eknath Shinde government was accused by the BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi of involvement in the Rs 70,000 crore irrigation scam.
NCP (SCP) leader Supriya Sule appeared relieved by turn of events recently Sule said, she was thankful to Shah for “freeing the NCP of corruption”. “Whenever he used to come to Maharashtra, he used to refer to the NCP as ‘naturally corrupt party’, but now no big leaders from the BJP talk about corruption. Whatever allegations he had made, no one talks about it, and that is why, I am very thankful to the BJP and Shah.”
As the first phase of the polls are over and six phases to go , it is now crystal clear that BJP will have to do lot convincing to the people it’s attempt to fight corruption.
