India once again proved why they are such a formidable side at home conditions. Virat Kohli and his men completed yet another rout of the rivals in a Test match. This time it was the listless Bangladesh in the first Test at Indore. India won by an emphatic innings and 130 runs inside three days to take a 1-0 lead in the series .

Both sides will now travel to Kolkata to play the first Day and Night in India from November 22- 26.

The game was over for Bangladesh after they scored a paltry 150 in the first innings after electing to bat first. Their batsmen could not handle the Indian pace and spin attack. Mushfiqur Rahim ( 43) and *Mominul Haque ( 37 ) were the only scorers but not big. The rest put up a poor show.

The Indian bowling was precise and accurate . Ishant Sharma 2/ 20 ( 12 overs) , Umesh Yadav 2/ 47 ( 14. 3 overs), Mohammed Shami 3/ 27 ( 13 overs) Ravichandran Ashwin 2/ 43 ( 16 overs)

India in reply batted out Bangladesh with a massive 493- 6 declared . Mayank Agarwal was the hero with his majestic second double ton of 243. Cheteshwar Pujara ( 54) , vice- captain Ajinkya Rahane ( 86), Ravindra Jadeja ( 60) were the major contributors. But there were some rare failures too . Rohit Sharma ( 6), Skipper Virat Kohli ( 0) and Wriddhiman Saha ( 12 .

For Bangladesh Abu Jayed took 4/108 ( 25 overs), Ebadat Hossain 1/ 115 ( 31 overs) Mehedy Hasan 1/ 125 ( 27 overs)

Trailing by 233 runs, It required a special from Bangladesh to avoid defeat. But that was not to be against the incisive Indian bowling attack . Mushfiqur Rahim ( 64), Liton Das ( 35), Mehidy Hasan ( 38) battled hard but could not get big scores. The team collapsed to 213 all out. Handing India a victory by innings and 130 runs.

Indian bowlers were spot on again . Ishant Sharma 1/31 ( 11 overs) , Umesh Yadav 2/ 51 ( 14 overs), Mohammed Shami was brilliant 4/ 31 ( 16 overs) , Ravichandran Ashwin 3/ 42 ( 14. 3 overs).
