Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai’s Nitara Introduces The Festive Thali, A Build-Your-Own Vegetarian Thali For Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi in Mumbai brings with it a familiar sense of celebration, homes filled with the fragrance of festive cooking and neighbourhoods coming alive with colour and music, and tables that invite people to pause, gather and eat together. At Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumba brings that spirit to the table with The Festive Thali, a vegetarian spread that draws from the flavours and ingredients associated with the season built around the sabudana and kuttu staples, while giving guests the freedom to make the meal their own.

The Festive Thali is designed around the idea that festive dining need not follow a fixed script. By letting guests choose their own combination between kitchdi and rice, bread, chaat, curries, appetizers, chutney and dessert, Hyatt Centric Juhu turns what is traditionally a set thali menu into a personalised experience, one that can be tailored to individual taste, appetite and dietary need. The menu draws on festive and fasting-appropriate preparations from across India, and clearly marks allergen information, including vegan, dairy, gluten, nut and sesame indicators, against every dish.

Available from September 5 to September 30, 2026, at ₹1,100++ per person, the format invites diners to build their own plate across seven categories, choosing one between samak pulao and sabudana khichdi, one bread between kuttu poori and ragi poori, one chaat between falhari fruit chaat and makhane aur kaju ki chaat, two curries from a selection that includes moongphali ki curry, gatte aur aam ki kadhi, sakarkand ki sabji and lauki ki sabji, two appetizers from puneri aloo, arbi took, sabudana vada and banana tikki, one chutney from a choice of four, one papad and one dessert, with options ranging from kavuni arisi halwa to imarti.

There is something inherently communal about a thali, several flavours arriving together, contrasting textures on one plate and the simple pleasure of choosing what goes where. The Festive Thali builds on that sense of abundance while making the experience more individual. Guests can lean into comforting classics, pick their favourite festive staples or create a completely different combination with every visit. It is a format that mirrors the easy, generous mood of the season, its familiar, celebratory and meant to be enjoyed at one’s own pace.
