Punjab Kings produced a super all- round show to beat a struggling Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets in a high- scoring Tata IPl 2026 encounter . PUnjab Kings Skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to field first.

It was this weakness that Punjab Kings exposed well with an explosive an explosive start chasing 220. Punjab openers – Priyansh Arya was scintillating in his fiery 57 ( 20 balls 5 fours, 5 sixes) his fellow partner Prabhsimran Singh gave admirable support with a equallly fine knock of 51 ( 25 balls, 4 fours, 4 sixes).
