Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who beat Swiss Stan Wawrinka 6-2 6-3 6-1 to win his 10th French Open title on Sunday.
With the latest win Nadal has now won his 15th Grand slam, three away from the men’s record held by Swiss Roger Federer.
The Spaniard has proved all that that on clay he is the real master. Having been troubled by recurring injuries last year, Rafa has bounced in 2017. He reached the Australian Open final early this year losing to Roger Federer.
That return alone proved that he is back . And at Roland Garros , Paris, Rafa has silenced all critics who said that injuries would force him to quit and he will find it tough to win another Grand Slam.
