Cafe Coffee Day founder V G Siddhartha, who had gone missing since Monday evening after intense search operations has been found dead. His body was recovered from the Netravati river in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka after 36 hours .
The body had washed ashore near Ullal and was fished out by local fishermen.
Mangalore MLA U T Khader said friends and relatives have confirmed that the body is of Siddhartha.
Siddhartha, who is the son-in-law of former Karnataka CM and BJP leader SM Krishna.

The letter supposed to have written by V G Siddhartha few days before his death has discussed about tax terrorism, which is an ugly face of politically motivated institutions.
