Like The Mumbai Indians, the men in yellow the Chennai Super Kings would love to add their sixth IPL title Having won earlier in (2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, 2023) . They have been one of the most consistent teams in the IPL . But failed to make to the knock- out stages last year. It was a huge disappointment which they would like to forget and improve this year. More so when they such an awesome record to show – it has appeared in a 10 finals and qualified for the playoff stages 12 times, the most amongst the IPL teams.
Get your whistles ready, #CSK fans 🥳

The CSK team had over the years aroused interest due to the presence of legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Who had led them to glory in the past. Clearly past his prime yet MSD is huge crowd puller and ardent fans line- up for hours to catch a glimpse of him. Last year MSD was shadow of his former self . This year one hopes he fares better and not play just one or two overs with the bat.
The CSK has the team to go all the way – Kiwi duo of Devon Conway, talented Rachin Ravindra at the top , Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Rituraj Gaikwad ( Skipper) Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar, English all-rounder Sam Curran ( moved on from Punjab Kings) . And of course MSD.
In bowling both pace and spin has quality and class with Sam Curran, Khaleel Ahmed, Noor Ahmed, Ravichandran Ashwin, Matheesha Pathirana , Ravindra Jadeja .
