Gujarat Titans produced produced a batting master class as they routed Delhi Capitals in a stunning run chase by 10 wickets in a Tata IPL2025 encounter at the Arun Jaitley stadium in Delhi.
GT Captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to owl first. DC lost opener Faf du Plessis early for 5. Abishek Porel began well but was out for 30 ( 19 balls , 2 four , 3 sixes ), DC Captain Axar Patel 25 ( 16 balls, 2 fours, 1 six).
The star of the Dc innings was opener K L Rahul . Rahul was oustanding as he smahed a fine hundred unbeaten 112 ( 65 balls, 14 balls, 4 sixes , Tristan Stubbs not out 21 ( 10 balls, 2 sixes as DC finished with a decent total of 199/3 in their 20 overs.

DC one thought had a decent target to defend but . GT just blew them away with their two in- from opening duo of Skipper Shuman Gilland Sai Sudharsan.
Chasing 200 for victory, Sudharsan (108 not out, 61 balls, 12 fours, 4 sixes ) and Gill (93 not out, 53 balls, 3 fours, 7 sixes) made light work of the target, powering Gujarat to 205 for no loss with six balls to spare.
The duo left the DC bowlers shell shocked by their master class. GT already in play-offs, the loss dents DC chances a bit .
DC Bowling : Axar Patel 0/35 ( 3 overs) T Natarajan 0/49 ( 3 overs) ,Mustafizur Rahman 0/24 ( 3 overs). DC missed badly Aussie Mitchell Starc who did not return due to Indo- Pak tension.
