Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is set to woo the audience yet again with his forthcoming film – Kesari. The period drama which also stars Parineeti Chopra, is based on the Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikh soldiers fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897.
Akshay will be playing as Havildar Ishar Singh in the film . The superstar took to twitter to promote the film

This is the first time Parineeti will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar.
Kesari is scheduled to release on March 21, 2019. Karan Johar is producing the film under his banner Dharma Productions. And is directed by Anurag Singh.
