As Maharashtra still waits for a government to take charge post results on October 24, it is now learnt that after another around of meeting over the government formation in Maharashtra, Congress leaders Prithviraj Chavan said that some aspects of the alliance are still under discussion and the alliance will be able to give a stable government to Maharashtra very soon.
“The Congress-NCP has had long and positive discussions today. Discussions will continue. I am sure we will be able to give a stable government to Maharashtra very soon,” Chavan told reporters after a meeting at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence in New Delhi.
Congress leaders Ahmed Patel, Jairam Ramesh, Mallikarjun Kharge, Prithviraj Chavan, K C Venugopal and Balasaheb Thorat attended the meeting.
Those representing the NCP included Supriya Sule, Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil and Nawab Malik.
