After days of hectic bargaining for seats and several meetings the Grand alliance in Bihar have finally stiched an alliance . The parties comprises the RJD- Congress , Sharad Yadav’s Lok Jantrik Dal (LJD), Jitan Ram Manji’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) of Upendra Kushwaha .
According to the seat arrangement RJD will contest 20 seats, Congress 9. HAM-3, RLSP on 5. Sharad Yadav will contest on RJD symbol.
The alliance has its task cut out as the seat sharing arrangement took its time . Only time will tell whether this delay in seat sharing had marred its poll chances or not . As days for the phase are very near
Bihar has 40 Lok Sabha seats and will vote in all the seven phases that starts on April 11. Bihar along with West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh are the three states which will vote on all the seven phases.
Interestingly the grand alliance have snubbed aspiring JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar. They have decided not to back him.
