Desperate for a win to revive their poor start in the tournament , Chennai Super Kings finally managed to win two crucial points as they beat Sunriseres Hyderabad by 20 runs in Dubai.
Electing to bat after CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss, the men in yellow put on a modest target of 167/ 6 in their twenty overs. Faf du Plessis fello for duck early. For SRH, Sandeep Sharma was impressive with 2/ 19 (4 overs), Khaleel Ahmed 2/45 (4 overs) he gave away 22 in one over though, Shahbaz Nadeem 0/ 29 (4 overs), Thangarasu Natarajan 2/41 ( 4 overs ) Rashid Khan for a change went wicket-less 0/ 30 (4 overs)

Chasing 168 to win SRH struggled. It lost skipper David warner early for ( 9), Jonny Bairstow ( 23) and Manish Pandey ( 4) run-out. Kiwis skipper Kane Williamson showed his class and scored a fine 39 ball 57 and gave CSK some jitters. But he did not get the support Priyam Garg ( 16) , Vijay Shankar ( 14) did not click as the SRH batsmen fell 20 runs short finishing at 147 / 8 in their twenty overs.
For CSK desperate for win their bowlers did come good in crunch tie. Dwayne Bravo 2/25 (3 overs), Karn Sharma 2/ 37 ( 4 overs) bagged two wickets each. While a wicket each went to bowlers Shardul Thakur 1/10 ( 2 overs), Ravindra Jadeja 1/ 21 ( 3 overs), Sam Curran 1/ 18 ( 3 overs)
