The Inaugural edition of Gulmarg Mountain Festival is being organized from 13th to 16th February 2020 at Gulmarg, Kashmir.Ogranised by Crazy Mad Dogs, this would be India’s first comprehensive Snow Adventure & Leisure Sports Festival. This Festival promises to have a unique mix of adventure, sports and leisure which help in boosting Global and Domestic, Ecologically Driven Tourism for Kashmir and India.
Crazy Mad Dogs’ prime focus of putting together this unique and high-adrenaline initiative is to create a potential model of Sustainable Adventure Tourism in the Himalayas or other ecologically sensitive zones in the country. The festival will include a number of adventure sports like, Snow Car Race, Heli-Skiing, Skiing, Snowboarding, Hot-Air Balloon Rides, Snow Running, Snow Biking and Snow Cycling apart from its main attractions of Snow Golf and Snow Cricket.
While speaking during the Press Meet in New Delhi, the Guest of Honour– the Highly Decorated Veteran Soldier – Col J.S. Dhillon – who is the Advisor to the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India and the President, Winter Games Federation Of India said, “We are sure that this premium level Sports, Adventure & Leisure Festival will reaffirm and re-announce Kashmir as the global Adventure Sports and Tourism destination. Gulmarg Mountain Festival 2020 has been curated by Northern Escapesin association with Travel Amazing India & Reach India. This global Snow based Sports and Leisure Event has been designed keeping in mind the extraordinary mix of the mesmerising beauty of Gulmarg, Kashmir under the cover of snow and adventure & leisure sports hitherto under-explored in the country – all in the same Event. Gulmarg Mountain Festival would be happy to host adventure enthusiasts, professionals and celebrities from across India and globe.
