Argentina’s Superstar footballer Lionel Messi has confirmed the final on Sunday, December 18 to be his last FIFA World Cup game.
The talismanic forward will be kicking for World Cup glory for the final time at football’s grandest stage against either France or Morocco and will look to draw curtains on his World Cup journey with the elusive trophy making its way to his already distinguished trophy cabinet.
Earlier, Argentina’s Julian Alvarez scored twice and earned a penalty converted by Lionel Messi as they swept past Croatia 3-0 on Tuesday and into the World Cup final where they will face either holders France or Morocco at the weekend.

Messi will be hpoing that he final gets his team over the line in the wWorld Cup final . They lost to Germany in 2014. It will be the South American nation’s Third FIFA World Cup after 1978 and 1986.
