Hi! I’am Sanjana this was the Pepsi commercial with Aamir Khan in 1993 that saw the nation get mesmerised by a stunning beauty called Aishwarya Rai . The commercial was a smashing success and the rest they say is history.
Bollywood lights beckoned and she shone bright in some making an impact. There were Blockbusters to be proud of as well. And with big names and big banners. Films like Hum Dil De chuke Sanam ( 1999 opposite Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn), Devdas ( 2002) opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Mohabbatein opposite Shah Rukh Khan ( 2002). Aishwarya had done three films with superstar Hrithik Roshan Dhoom 2 ( 2006 ) Jodha Akbar (2008) and Guzaarish (2010). And her pairing with Hrithik was widely appreciated as both were good looking. In Dhoom 2 she had the nation swooning all over with her fast paced racy number Crazy kiya Re. It presented at her most stylish and sexy avatar.
Unfortunately the Hrithik – Ash pair did not sizzle again as she took a sabbatical and got married to Abhishek Bachchan ( dating Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi for a while) and became the daughter in- law of the iconic and one and only Amitabh Bachchan. After a break of 5 years staged a comeback in Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa ( 2015) and Omung Kumar’s Sarabjit ( 2016) did not make her come-back noteworthy.
But, Karan Johar’s Ae Dil hai Mushkil ( 2016) in daring sexy hot avatar as a poetess opposite much younger Ranbir Kapoor ensured her return with a bang. Aishwarya and Ranbir scorch the screen with their sizzling chemistry including some passionate and hot love making shots in the song Bulleya.
Not only on screen the pair sizzled but off- screen as well. The duo set the film magazine Filmfare November 2016 issue on fire with their bold daring sexy and intimate photo- shoot .
