Expressing gratitude towards the people of Delhi who had reposed faith in AAP and crushing the challenge from BJP , A delighted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing media said : “I thank people of Delhi for reposing their faith in AAP for the third time. This the victory of the people who consider me as their son and voted for us.”
He further stated : “Dilli walon gazab kar dia aap ne. I love you”.

“People of Delhi have proven that Delhi’s son Arvind Kejriwal isn’t a terrorist but a true patriot. He’s working for nation building, the work he’s doing is what constitutes patriotism. What BJP is doing, isn’t patriotism,” said Raghav Chadha, AAP’s winning candidate from Rajinder Nagar.
AAP success in Delhi were hailed by opposition leaders as well .
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in his reaction to Delhi results took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he stated : I congratulate Arvind Kejriwal and the people of Delhi for AAP’s victory in #DelhiPolls2020. People have shown that the country will be run by ‘Jan Ki Baat’, not ‘Mann Ki Baat’. BJP called Kejriwal a terrorist but couldn’t defeat him.
Sharad Pawar, NCP supremo in his reaction said : Delhi Assembly poll results not surprising. I don’t think BJP’s series of defeat will stop soon. Delhi poll results indicate ‘winds of change’ blowing in the country.
