British Prime Minister Theresa May is facing a huge crisis as Brexit issue has rocked her party. In less than 24 hours she has seen two of her trusted cabinet colleagues step down. Those include two top guns – Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and David Davis, Brexit Secretary .
Johnson after resigning took to twitter and released his letter explaining the reasons behind quitting.
I am proud to have served as Foreign Secretary. It is with sadness that I step down: here is my letter explaining why. pic.twitter.com/NZXzUZCjdF

It may be recalled that Downing Street announced Johnson’s resignation as foreign secretary, just minutes before May addressed MPs about the softer Brexit plan agreed at Chequers.
Johnson did not hold back words in his blunt resignation letter , he was of the view that the present Brexit plan would ensure that Britain was “truly headed for the status of colony”. HE was scathing in his jibe at the prime minister accusing her of “sending our vanguard into battle with the white flags fluttering above them”.
Jonson’s exit according to various media report have put pressure on Prime Minister May and there is a possibility that she might have to face a vote of confidence sooner or later. Brexit it seems is turning out to be headache for Prime Minister Theresa May. It would be interesting to see how she battles out of this quagmire she finds herself in.
