Bollywood had not recovered from paying tributes to Irrfan Khan here comes another big blow. Seasoned actor, and legend Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67 .
Kapoor has been unwell after being diagnosed with cancer and was admitted to the H N Reliance hospital, his elder brother Randhir Kapoor said. He was admitted to hospital after he complained of breathing problems.
Kapoor returned to India last September after undergoing treatment for cancer in the US for almost a year. In February, Kapoor was hospitalised twice due to his health issues. He was first admitted to a hospital in Delhi where he was attending a family function.
At the time, Kapoor had said that he was suffering from an “infection”. After his return to Mumbai, he was again admitted to a hospital with viral fever. He was discharged soon after.
As soon as news came in Twitter was flooded with tributes :

Saddened to hear that my senior schoolmate at Mumbai’s CampionSchool, Rishi Kapoor, whom i competed with in “inter-class dramatics” in 1967-68, has gone to a better world. From the romantic hero of “Bobby”to the mature character actor of his last films, he evolved remarkably. RIP pic.twitter.com/9eyzE0qP38
