Wearing his now trademark white T- Shirt and khaki trousers , leader of the Oppostion Rahul Gandhi is taking on the government in his aggressive avatar . An attribute that has reinvigorated the Congress party and the youth towards India’s GOP . Critics and the Godi media in particular have been relentless in their vicious campaign against him . And at every isntance cite Congress poor record of election wins and Rahul Gandhi’s failed leadership.
Yet Rahul Gandhi remains unfazed by the mocking and has emerged as the leading light in taking on the Modi government from the Opposition . And the oppostion leaders have rallied around him too in his rallies and campaigns with full solidarity. The Gandhi scion has tactically reached out to the youth of India with hsi outreach programme – Chhatron Ki Goonj amidt the raging NEET paper leak and the gritter detrmined CJP protest led to the resignation of education minister Dharmendra Pradhan from the Union Cabinet . Rallies by Rahul have garnered have gathered attention and from the media too . The vast turn-out cannot be ignored. No matter what.
Mogambo Modi has destroyed democracy and the future of India’s Youth.
There is no power on earth that can stop Modi, Shah, Bhagwat, Doval and Gyanesh from being brought to justice. https://t.co/sZnmAJXOql

Rahul’s tweets are followed and his Instagram videos have gone viral . The BJP and the it’s senior ministers and sposkespersons at various new nes channels have dubbed RaGA as non- serious politician and often goes on vacation and lament at his rhetorics . But if Rahul is so non- serious and and care free as a poltician what is is that stings them to comment on his every remark of Tweets? That means he is taken seriously . A news channel recently staged a world summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi giving the keynote address . But the World summit headline turned out to be a Rahul Gandhi summit at the end . Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose the stage yet again to slam the Congress, it’s policies and ofcourse take a now routine dig at Rahul Gandhi calling him a failed product . Meawhile, at the very summit senior Congress leader and four- time Lok sabha MP from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Shashi Tharoor responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s failed product jibe at Rahul Gandhi. Tharoor was quoted as saying : “…I can tell you that I think Rahul Gandhi has ignited an enthusiasm, particularly amongst younger voters in the last few months, which I think the BJP would be well advised to sit up and pay attention to”. “In fact, I suspect it’s because they have paid attention to him that they are trying to demonise him in this way.”
It must be noted that even since 2014 since his ascent to power at the Centre Modi has never forgotten to vent his angst against the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, repeated Emergency jibes at Indira Gandhi and the Gandhi family and the Congress era rule at the Centre.
Rahul Gandhi has rallied the entire opposition with his campaign to out the CEC Gyanesh Kumar . It is long battle but Gandhi is willing to fight till the CEC is ousted . In one of Rahul Gandhi’s Tweets he writes , The day is coming when those who seek to silence the voice of our democracy will face the harsh hand of justice. Be it Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Gyanesh Kumar, or any common foot soldier. I want every student and youth who has endured police brutality or unlawful detention to keep a complete record of it—video or photos—these will be essential. Peaceful protest is your right. We will not allow anyone to snatch it away. Rahul Gandhi’s call for #ChaloDilli has stormed the social media.
In fight against the ouster of CEC Gyanesh Kumar , Rahul Gandhi has managed to win over over unlikely allies too. Five- time former BJD Chief Minister Of Odisha Naveen Patnaik, The DMK which had accused Congress of back- stabbing by ditiching their alliance with TVK under Tamil Nandu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay too has sought the ouster of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. In Maharashtra, The Thackeray brothers – Raj and Uddhav too led a massive protest march in Mumbai against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Poltical developments enough to rattle the BJP.
Moreover, Rahul Gandhi has now come out in support of the CJP too. After CJP’s co- convenors Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka were sent to judicial custody for breaching Jantar Mantar, the LOP hit out athe government . Taking to X, Gandhi stated that “waving the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar in a peaceful protest is not a crime. Jailing youth for it is an act of cowardice.” This Congress – CJP bonhomie is usre to rattle the Modi government in the days ahead. Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke in return thanked Rahul for speaking for Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka.Taking to X, Dipke wrote, “Thank you, LoP @RahulGandhi sir, for speaking out against the illegal arrest of @AshutoshRanka & @SauravDassss.”

Rahul Gandhi’s aggressive stance has got support. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was quoted as saying when asked about Gandhi’s actions said : Rahul Gandhi is doing “exactly what people expect from him” and fulfilling his core duty of challenging the government and holding them accountable.
First The NEET irregularities campaign and now the campaign against CEC Gyanesh Kumar, Rahul Gandhi is leading the charge against the Modi government. The government in return has filed FIR’s against him, yet RaGa remains defaint and unrelenting in his fight and stating : “There are 45 FIRs against me, my goal is 100 FIRs. Every FIR is a medal for me,” Gandhi said. The remark came as Delhi Police registered a fresh case against him and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with their supporters, for allegedly forcing their way into Akashvani Bhawan during the opposition’s march against the CEC. So the gloves are truly off in this Modi Government vs Opposition battle . Where is it headed nobody knows . One things is clear – India’s political discourse has never been seen such bitterness and ego clashes . These are certainly not good signs of a mature Democracy.
