Come April 7, 2018 , the season 11 of the most popular T20 League in the world gets under way. Fans will be thronging at various stadiums in hordes to watch their favourite teams battle it out for the coveted IPL trophy. The final will be on May 31.
This year will see the return of the Chennai Super Kings and captained by the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The CSK returns to IPL after two years along with Rajasthan Royals. The Royals will be lead by Australian skipper Steve Smith while iconic spin wizard Shane Warne returns for the Royals as Mentor.
It is homecoming for Gautam Gambhir , who returns to Delhi and will captain the Delhi Daredevils, Aussie legend and former skipper Ricky Ponting is DD’s head coach.
