“Back when Kamala was Attorney General, she worked closely with Beau. I watched as they took on the big banks, lifted up working people, and protected women and kids from abuse. I was proud then, and I am proud now to have her as my partner in this campaign,” he further tweeted.

The US presidential election will be held on November 3.
Reacting Biden’s announcement , President Donald Trump said he was surprised by the announcement as she was “nasty” and “disrespectful” to Biden during the primary. “I was a little surprised that he picked her,” Trump said during a press conference at the White House, adding that “she did very, very poorly in the primaries.” “She was very nasty to Joe Biden and it’s hard to pick somebody who is that disrespectful,” he added.
