K Chandrashekhar Rao , the incumbent Chief Minister of Telangana seems to have had the last laugh. His gamble of going early polls has paid off. The TRS is et to seep to power for the second time . It has outclassed the alliance between the Congress- TDP – TJS and CPI .
In the 119 member assembly , according to media reports at the time of writing the story, KCR-led TRS continues to dominate early trends, with a lead in 93 seats. While Congress is leading in 18 constituencies, AIMIM and BJP leading in 5 and 2 seats, respectively.
The Congress is apparently putting up a brave front and insists that despite the loss , the alliance with TDP would continue.
