Sanju Samson led Rajasthan Royals began their Tata IPL 2023 campaign on a strong note . At Hyderabad The Royals came out with superb all- round effort to beat the home side SRH by a whopping 72 runs.

Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and England T20 World Cup winning skipper Jos Butler raced away to a great start 85 in mere 5.5 overs > It looked ominous. Jaiswal struck a fine 54 ( 37 balls , 9 fours) , Buttler too scored 54 but blazing ( 22 balls, 7 fours, 3 sixes). Skipper Sanju Samson carried on the momentum with a fine 55 ( 32 balls, 3 fours, 4 sixes) . Shimron Hetmyer finished the innings with a unbeaten cameo 16 ball 22 . Royals ended up with imposing 203/ 5 in their 20 overs.
