In the 21st match of the Tata IPL 2022, Sunrisers Hyderabad record their second win of the tournament as they ended the three-match winning sequence of Gujarat Titans. In the match played at DY Patil stadium, Navi Mumbai, SRH won with ease by 8 wickets and five balls to spare.
SRH skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and fielded first. The Titans lost early wickets – Matthew Wade (19) , Shubman Gill ( 7) , Sai Sudharsan ( 11) and were at a spot of bother at 64/ 3 in 8 overs. David Miller too fell for 12 . Skipper Hardik Pandya battled hard and played a lone hand . Hardik scored an unbeaten 42 ball 50 ( 4 fours , 1 six) , Abhinav Manohar scored 35 . And last ball six hero in the previous encounter Rahul Tewatia was out cheaply for 6 . Titans struggling to put 162/ 7 in their 20 overs.

In reply SRH looked in command form the start. Openers Abhishek Sharma 32 ball ( 42) with six fours and Skipper Kane Williamson a fine 46 ball 57 ( 2 fours and four sixes) put on 64 for the first wicket in 8.5 overs. Rahul Tripathi looked in ominous form but on 11 he pulled a muscle and had to retire hurt . Nicholas Pooran looked to finish things quickly as he hit quick 18 ball unbeaten 34 with two fours and two sixes , the last one finishing the match . Aiden Markram was the other batsman unbeaten on 12 as SRH finished at 168 /2 in 19. 1 overs
