Sunrisers Hyderabad the 2016 winners set the Tata IPL2024 on fire with their brand of fearless cricket. They will be hoping for repeat in 2025 as well. And their fans would be wanting just that. It was a sterling show to finish runner- up after finishing at the bottom of the table in 2023. And SRH without doubt are among the favourites this year. Expected to reach the play- offs and if not go all the way. They are the team to beat and fear .
Credit for the turn- around goes to the Australian Skipper Pat Cummins who led the team from the front and Kiwi Daniel Vettori as Head coach was astute in selecting the playing eleven .
Cummins came into Tata IPL 2024 with a fabulous 2023 behind him – Winning the ICC cricket World Cup 2013 , WTC Title and retaining the Ashes while leading the Australian national team. Incidentally Cummins is the only foreign Skipper in Tata IPL 2025. Having World Cup winning captain as SRH Skipper has given the side the respect .

Cummins missed the Champions Trophy 2025 due to injury and now recovered the Aussie skipper wants to use the tournament to get in proper shape ahead of the target he has set for himself defend the WTC title against South Africa in June 11 at Lord’s where he leads Australia.
The SRH team has batting fire power – Travis Head- Abhishek Sharma at the top were blazing last year. Ishan Kishan, Nitish Reddy, Heinrich Klassen can demolish any bowling line- up .
The bowling is perfect with Skipper Pat Cummins , Mohammad Shami, Jaidev Unadkat and spin with Adam Zampa, Rahul Chahar. SRH has the all – round team that can go all the way and is a sure title contender.
