Talented Dewald Brevis gave the CSK innings the brute force with 57 not out ( 23 balls, 4 fours, 5 sixes) and Ravindra Jadeja not out 21 ( 18 balls, 1 four, 1 six) saw CSk reah an imposing 230/5 in their 20 overs.

In reply GT lost wickets at regular intervals from the start and the innings never got any momentum whatsoever. After a poor bowling effort this batting show is worrying sign for them ahead of the crucial play-offs where there are no second chances.
