The probe into the blast at a cafe in Bengaluru has been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), sources said .
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) handed over the case to the NIA, and the officials will handle the case starting March 4.
At least nine people were injured when a blast took place at Rameshwaram Cafe in Whitefield in East Bengaluru on March 1.
According to the sources as reported by PTI , a man wearing a cap, mask and glasses is the prime suspect in the case and is still untraceable.
CM Siddaramaiah also inspected the blast site and met the injured at the hospital. He even chaired a high-level meeting with all senior officials and directed them to conduct a fair investigation into the case.
