Bollywood actress and superstar Deepika Padukone shared a sweet throwback picture with her father, Indian badminton icon Prakash Padukone on his 65th birthday.
It was in 1980 that Prakash Padukone became the first Indian to win the coveted All England Open Badminton Championships. A landmark win that was to inspire generation next of Indian badminton players in the years ahead. In 2001 Pullela Gopichand emulated Prakash Padukone winning the All England Open badminton Championships.
