Poll strategist Prashant Kishor who had earlier given hints of a likely entry into politics has now apparently decided his future move. Speaking to ANI, Kishor stated, In next 3-4 months, I’ll meet many eminent persons of Bihar who can help build idea of ‘Jan Suraaj’ (good governance) & make them part of it. I’ll embark on 3000 kms ‘Padyatra’ across Bihar from Oct 2, Gandhi Ashram, West Champaran

On the query what the Congress party needs to ahead to revive its political fortunes, Kishore said, Congress needs to decide how they want to function further, not me. They took whatever decision they deemed important & so did I. Congress doesn’t need any Prashant Kishor, the party has even more capable people. They know what they have to do.
On Bihar Kishore said, It is ironical that even after 30 years reign of Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar the state still remains poor and backward. In area of development ‘ Viakas’ Bihar is lagging behind other states. It should aim to be on par with other states on development and for that a new ideas and efforts should be made .
