Aamir Khan has announced his next production venture “Lahore, 1947”, starring Sunny Deol and to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
The superstar confirmed the project in a statement posted on his banner Aamir Khan Productions’ (AKP) official page on microblogging site X.

Khan said he and his team at AKP are looking forward to collaborate with Deol and Santoshi.
Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi combine had delivered three cult Blockbusters in the past – Ghayal ( 1990), Damini ( 1993), Ghatak ( 1996)
Sunny Deol is currently riding high with phenomenal success of his Gadar2 which has become a Blockbuster . According to reports , The total nett box office collection is over Rs 525 crore and its worldwide collection is Rs 684.8 crore.
