In a shocking incident A 21-year-old woman was gang-raped by three unknown men in Maharashtra’s Pune. The incident happened late on Thursday when the woman was out with a male friend.
According to the police, the survivor and her friend were in the Bopdev Ghat area when the three miscreants attacked them.

They thrashed the woman’s male friend and gang-raped the woman, at nearly 11 pm. Hours later, the woman’s friend took her to a nearby hospital, where she was undergoing treatment.
Reacting to the incident , NC(SP) Leader and Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule quoted by ANI aid , “With great regret, I would like to say that this is the second such incident in my constituency… The law and order of Maharashtra has failed in every way… Everyday we come across such cases. Pune has become the crime capital of the state… This is a failure of the triple-engine government in the state… The Home Ministry does not issue any statements after such crimes…The state Home Minister should resign.”
