The Maharashtra imbroglio is all set to end tomorrow . As the Supreme Court has in its order have asked the floor test in the Maharashtra assembly to be held on November 27 before 5 pm. The proceedings shall be live telecast.
Supreme Court also ordered open secret ballot; Pro-tem Speaker should be appointed to conduct Floor Test.
Supreme Court’s three-judge bench, headed by Justice NV Ramana and comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Ashok Bhushan, read the pronouncement of the judgement on the petition jointly filed by NCP-Congress &Shiv Sena against formation of BJP-led government in Maharashtra.
This will end the claims of both BJP and the NCP – Sena – Congress alliance as to who has the numbers on their side to form the government.
This is an acid test for Devendra Fadnavis having been sworn in as Chief minister along with Ajit Pawar as deputy.
