Ending all speculations that due to heavy workload that superstar and Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli might be rested for the West Indies tour comprising 3 ODI, 3 T20’s and 2 Tests, chairman of the selectors while announcing the team for the tour said that Kohli would lead in all the three formats
Rohit Sharma will be his deputy in ODI’s and T20’s while Ajinkya Rahane will remain deputy to Kohli in The Tests.
In a major announcement , MSK Prasad said that it is time now to groom 21- year-old Rishabh Pant for the future and he will be India’s first choice wicket-keeper in all formats. On Mahendra Singh Dhoni who, opted out and will be joining the territorial army for two months, Prasad said , MSD is legendary cricketer and knows when to retire.
