External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar In his tweet has reacted strongly to former Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s jibe at the Indian Foreign Service.
At the ‘Ideas for India’ conference in London, Rahul Gandhi taking a dig at the Indian foreign service said, ‘I was talking to some bureaucrats from Europe and they were saying that the Indian foreign service has completely changed, they do not listen to anything. They are arrogant… There is no conversation’.
To this EAM S Jaishankar in a tweet attacking Rahul Gandhi’s narrative wrote , Yes, the Indian Foreign Service has changed.
Yes, they follow the orders of the Government.
Yes, they counter the arguments of others.
No, its not called Arrogance.
It is called Confidence.
