The battle between the ruling Trinamool Congress government of Mamata Banerjee has peaked ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls 2019. The two parties have been exchanging charges ands counter charges off- late.
In the latest flare-up, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had to cancel his two rallies in West Bengal as his chopper was not given permission to land.
The Uttar Pradesh chief minister along with state BJP president Dilip Ghosh was scheduled to address two ‘Ganatantra Bacaho Rallies’ at Balurghat in South Dinajpur district and Raiganj in North Dinajpur district.
A peeved Yogi Aditynath later addressed the rally via phone from Lucknow.
“Mamata ji must accept that you don’t misuse administration in a democracy. The way it’s being done in West Bengal. The way Bengal’s administration is functioning as the workers of TMC, should not be acceptable at all,” Adityanath said.
