After hectic and bitter slug fest campaigning between BJP and the Congress , the stage is set for the people to decide. As Rajasthan votes today in the much talked about 2018 assembly elections. It is real test for incumbent Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje as she battles hard to retain power. She is likely to face tough challenge with the Congress headed by PCC chief Sachin Pilot and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot .
Chief Minister Raje is contesting from Jhalrapatan constituency . And taking her on will be former BJP leader and son of Jaswant Singh, Manvendra Singh. This is the most awaited contest.
Over 2,000 candidates are in the fray for 199 assembly seats in Rajasthan.
In Rajasthan, votes will be cast at 51,687 polling booths, 259 of them managed exclusively by women officials and security personnel.
