Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan Khan hope for release was dented as he did not get bail in the drugs-on-cruise case. The Sessions court has reserved the Bail order till October 20 . That means Aryan will spend next six days in Jail. Fate of others – Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha would also be decided on October 20.
Reportedly, Aryan Khan tested COVID-19 negative and was shifted to common cell with five others in Arthur Road Central Jail.
During the hearing, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has told the special court that its probe has revealed that Aryan, who is currently lodged in Mumbais Arthur Road jail, was involved in the conspiracy, illicit drug trafficking as well as its procurement and consumption.
NCB, in its argument against granting bail to Aryan Khan and other accused, has presented WhatsApp chats as evidence showing that Aryan Khan was an active link of the illegal drugs chain along with the other accused.
Senior counsel Amit Desai, appearing for Aryan Khan, argued on a statement of the accused that says the mobile phone was voluntarily given. “The mobile phone was seized but there is no seizure panchnama? If they believe that the contents of the mobile are important, they have it. Why curtail my liberty? Nothing has been suggested that if he is released on bail investigation will be affected.”
Report has claimed that Gauri Khan has kept a mannat for Aryan’s release and has constantly been praying during Navratri while being off sugar and sweets. Preity Zinta met Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri at Mannat.
