Ever since his return to Bollywood after his release from Yerwada Central Jail in 2016 after completing his prison sentence in the 1993 Mumbai Bomb Blast case , Superstar Sanjay Dutt is searching for a hit .
The actor who turned 60 recently has not had a good run at the Box-office. All his films did not make an impact be it Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi ( 2017) along with Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sharad Kelkar , Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 ( 2018) , Abhishek Varman’s Kalank ( 2019) and even his home production Prassthanam ( 2019) directed by unknown Dev Katta .
However, much to the surprise of many his biopic though Sanju ( 2018) played by Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt directed by Rajkumar Hirani was a Blockbuster at the Box-office.
So, Sanjay is now banking on director Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat to resurrect his career . In this film, Sanjay Dutt dons the role of dreaded Ahmad Shah Abdali. Based on the third battle of Panipat, the film also stars Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles .

Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau, while Kriti Sanon is portraying the role of his wife Parvati Bai.
