In a dastardly terror strike in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, militant outfit Jaish- e Mohammad ( Who claimed responsibility) who according to media reports attacked a CRPF convoy. They reportedly killed 13 Jawans and injured 40 . The suicide bomber apparently rammed his car into the convoy .
As per initial reports, an improvised explosive device exploded near a bus in the convoy, which was moving from Jammu to Srinagar, following which gunshots and grenade blasts were heard.
Former Jammu and Kashmir chief Minister Omar Abdullah tweeted his anguish and condemned the attack in his reaction to the attack .
Terrible news coming from the valley. A number of CRPF soldiers are reported to have been killed & injured in an IED blast. I condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms. My prayers for the injured & condolences to the families of the bereaved. #Kashmir
