The five- time winners have decided to move on from current India Captain Rohit Sharma to talismanic all- rounder Hardik Pandya . The move to replace Rohit with Hardik has not gone down well with ardent fans of Mumbai Indians . It has also led to trends on on X

Five-time champions MI have failed to live up to expectations in the last three seasons. After winning their fifth IPL title in 2020, Mumbai twice crashed out in the league stages in two successive seasons in 2021 and 2022, while they made it to the play-offs last year, but lost in the Qualifier 2 match to the Pandya-led Gujarat Titans.
