Defending Champions Gujarat Titans in rain delayed Tata IPL 2023 match in Bengaluru dashed the play-offs hopes of Royal Challengers Bangalore by beating them by six wickets. The result means Mumbai Indians have now clinched the fourth – play- offs spot .

In reply GT , Opener Wriddhiman Saha was out early for 12. Dasun Shanaka ( 0), David Miller ( 6) fell cheaply . But Shubman Gill anchored the chase well by hitting his second ton . This time superb 104 not out ( 52 balls, 5 fours, 8 sixes) and able support from Vijay Shankar 53 ( 35 balls, 7 fours, 2 sixes) ensured GT were on track. Rahul Tewatia not out 4 ensured GT romped home by six wickets with Gill in company . GT reaching 198/ 4 in 19.1 overs)
