#TATAIPL2022 : Match 43 : Gujarat Titans Continue Domination, Beat Royal Challengers Bangalore By 6 Wickets; Virat Kohli Finds Form Finally

Hardik Pandya led Gujarat Titans further consolidated their top position in the points Table of the Tata IPL 2022 as they won their latest encounter against The Royal Challengers Bangalore at Brabourne stadium by 6 wickets.

RCB skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bat first . RCB began on a disastrous note it lost skipper Faf du Plessis for ( 0). Battling poor form and under pressure, Virat Kohli finally batted his way back to form with a fine fifty. Virat scored a 53 ball 58 with 6 fours and 1 six . His innings and return to from was cheered on from the stands by his wife Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Rajat Patidar gave Virat support with a fine 32 ball 52 with five fours and two sixes. Glenn Maxwell played a cameo 18 ball 33 with three fours and two sixes as RCB finished at 170/ 6 in their 20 overs.

Titans were spot on with the ball : Mohammed Shami 1/ 39 (4 overs), Pradeep Sangwan 2/ 19 (4 overs) , Alzarri Joseph 1/ 42 (4 overs), Rashid Khan 1/ 29 ( 4 overs), Lockie Ferguson 1/ 36 ( 4 overs)

In reply the Titans were on course thanks to the opening partnership between Shubhman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha. The pair put on 51 for the first wicket in 7. 3overs . Gill out for ( 31) and Saha ( 29) . Sai Sudharsan scored ( 20). Skipper Hardik Panya fell cheaply for (3) . The Titans were at one point tottering at 95/ 4 in 13th over. But the dependable an in- from duo of Rahul Tewatia (43 not out) and David Miller (39 not out) did the job for GT in yet another thrilling chase with three balls to spare . Titans eventually finishing at 174/ 4 in 19. 3 overs.

For RCB : Wanindu Hasaranga 2/ 28 ( 4 overs) , Shahbaz Ahmed 2/ 26 ( 4 overs) were the wicket- takers. Others had figures which read : Mohammed Siraj 0/ 35 ( 4 overs), Josh Hazlewood 0/ 36 ( 3.3 overs) , Harshal Patel 0/ 35 ( 4 overs) , 0/ 10 ( 1 over)
