Sunrisers Hyderabad dented Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s hopes of a first two finish in the points table as they outplayed them by 42 runs in a Tata IPL 2025 encounter. That was a high scoring affair.
Jitesh Sharma stand-in RC Skipper in place of Rajat Patidar won the toss and opted to bowl first. SRH batting came good for the second time. They chased chased 200 plus score against LSG and won.
Here they showed their prowess by utting up a daunting total . Travid Head dearted early for 17. Abhishek Sharma 34 ( 17 balls, 3 fours, 3 sixes) , Heinrich Klaasen 24 ( 13 balls, 2 fours, 2 sixes), Aniket Verma 26 ( 9 balls, 1 four, 3 sixes) continued the onslaught.
The innings go the power with Ishan Kishan joining the party with a blistering unbeaten 94 ( 48 balls, 7 fours, 5 sixes) it blew RCB away. Nitish Reddy ( 4), Ahinav Manohar (12) and Skipper Pat Cummins not out 3 as SRH powered to 231 /6 in their 2 overs

In the chase RCB got off to a flier with Philip Salt and Virat Kohli . The duo were brillint in power play as RC raced to 79 in just 7 overs when Virat was the first to be dismissed for 43 ( 25 balls, 7 fours, 1 six). Mayank Agarawal was out for 11. Rajat Patidar 18 AS RCB lost wickets against some penetrative SRH bowling.
Salt bltz last for while but he fell for 62 ( 32 balls, 4 fours, 5 sixes his dismissal oned the floodgates . As rest of the RCB batsmen found the target stiff – Jitesh Sharma 25, Romario Shepherd 0, Krunal Pandya 8, Tim David 1.
